3 Regular Guys Review - Super 8 Sampler

We 3 Regular Guys dutifully smoked the Powerhouse 30 and scrawled our thoughts about Don Lugos and Empresarios on our notepads or jotted our impression of the Thompson Phoenix on the back of the crossword puzzle.

We learned a number of things about our Thompson cigars. Some caught us off guard and surprised us –like Colm’s newly discovered affinity toward the Cuban Delight. There’s not a lot of risk that he’d forsake his deep rooted infatuation with Fuente, but it did start looking like he’d swipe any Cuban Delight lying about even if people were looking.

With the Powerhouse 30 behind us we were on to our next mission. That came in the form of the Super 8 Sampler –“Eight Great Cigars For Only $9.95” as our website exclaims. Quick, do the math. That’s shy of $1.25 per cigar! Three-quarters of the cigars in this sampler would each cost 60% of what the entire deal is priced at. How can you beat that?

Here’s the list: Toraño Exodus 1959 Silver Edition; CAO Brazilia; CAO Criollo, Padrón Delicias; Cusano 18 Natural; Thompson Cigar Vintage Especiale; and Rocky Patel Sun Grown. There are some great names in this lineup and we were rather gung ho about getting to smoke some national brands.

With that in mind, you’ll want to read our thoughts on the Super 8 Sampler because even we were a little caught off guard by our impressions of these stogies.
